Here is the final project created by Damon Jacoby and myself. A story about 2 towns, Empire and Gerlach, in Northern Nevada. After the closing of the Gypsum mine in Empire many of the residents have left the area they called home for years. Many of the residents stayed in the isolated community. This is the story of why they love to live there.

Miss Empire, had a great time while it lasted. Nice to see familiar faces on the vidoe with the people i worked with. Im still with USG in Oklahoma and doing well. Hope all of you that lived and worked in Empire are doing well also, Thanks
Paul and I lived and worked there for 19 years. We were amazed that it closed. I always hoped it would survive. You did a wonderful job showing the surrounding area and the great people whom we knew. Thank You
